Hemingway + Stutzel Join:

One is a former St.Louis Blue and the other an ex Phoenix Coyote, yes that's right the Caps signing pedigree has just stepped up a level or two. Forwards Colin Hemingway ( 3 game Blue) and Mike Stutzel ( 9 game Dog) will add a hell of a lot of skill and fire power to the Capitals offensive lines. With their previous experience's both players will be expected to regularly find the back of the opposition netminder's goal, I expect they will do just that. Both guys also bring some more size and grit to the team, Hemingway is 6'' and Stutzel measures in a 6''2'. I'm pretty sure Stutzel will be a fantastic skater too, up their with Jan Krajicek's ability to twist and turn and move away from opponents, he would have had to have shown that level of ability and some to have signed up and played for Tappara in the Finnish SM-Liiga. I will be looking out for Tappara fans with his name on their jersey now when I'm over in Finland later this year.

Oh and just in case you didn't see the P.R release from the club Hemingway is probably best known for scoring this goal during his college days: I hope he shows off some of those skills during his time as an Edinburgh Capitals player.

I honestly and fully believe that these two signings are as good as if not better than anything any other team in the league has to offer in their line-up. I can see the club doing a lot of good things next season. We will be extremely competitive. This is the Capitals revolution II.
